Nissan reportedly has a new version of the variant X-Trail 2 wheel drive with a more affordable price. But this is dedicated to the Australian market.

SUV mainstay of the Japanese manufacturers will be present with two variants, according to the plans and will be sold with prices starting at 27,990 Australian dollars, or about Rp256 million.

X-Trail is available from early this year and using the displacement of 2,000 cc four-cylinder that can generate power of 136 hp.

As for the choice of engines with a larger capacity 2500 cc, 167 horsepower engine with four-wheel drive (4WD).

In addition to engine options, the X-Trail also comes with two types of options. The first type of ST, a 17-inch wheels, side airbags, curtain airbags, Bluetooth phone, MP3 player, CD changer, audio control on steering wheel and cruise control use.

Then type ST-L are more luxurious with leather seats, electric seat control, heated front seats, climate control and fog lamps.

With affordable prices, so the X-Trail has become a formidable competitor to the Mitsubishi Outlander and Toyota RAV4.

Nissan's decision to a variant of the X-Tail 2 WD adding is intended as a strategy to expand the market in Australia. Previously, Nissan had success with dualists that having a 2-wheel, with a sales spike to 212 percent.
